Codex

Codex is one of the primary OpenFrog use cases. It fits code generation, command execution support, and development workflow automation.

Integration flow

1. Create a usable API key in OpenFrog
2. Point the tool gateway URL to https://openfrog.io/v1
3. Choose an enabled coding model and complete the first request

What to check during setup

• Whether the tool supports an OpenAI-compatible interface
• Whether the model name must be set explicitly
• Whether extra proxy settings, environment variables, or workspace permissions are required

Troubleshooting

If Codex cannot connect, check:

• Whether the key is valid
• Whether the Base URL is complete
• Whether the target model is enabled for the current account
